Australian FAM trip surveys Vietnam’s tourism sites
A group of Australian tourism experts recently came to Vietnam to seek opportunities for tour operations to the country.
Arriving in Vietnam on October 27, 11 members of the group went on a three-day trip to survey different tourism sites in the southern region of Vietnam.
They visited Cu Chi tunnel, watched documentary films on wars in Vietnam, visited the Vietnam War Remnant Museum in Ho Chi Minh City, Ben Thanh Market, gardens in Vinh Long Province, fish raising on rivers, Vietnam traditional handicraft villages.
All members of the group were impressed when visiting Cai Be floating markets in Tien Giang Province.
Before leaving Vietnam all members of the FAM trip showed their satisfaction and expressed their desire to bring Australian tourists to Vietnam.
The group consisted of many directors, marketing managers, business managers of different Australian travel agencies.
