More upmarket hotels to open in Da Lat Vietnam
The five-star Da Lat Ana Mandara Villas resort and four hotels of four-star standard will open in Da Lat Vietnam in December, the Lam Dong Province Department of Trade and Tourism says.
The four-star establishments nearing completion are the Ngoc Lan, Sai Gon-Da Lat and Rex-Da Lat hotels and one belonging to the State-owned engineering corporation Cienco 6.
And for next year, the Hoang Anh-Da Lat resort and Tran Hung Dao street's villas should be completed in time for the 2007 Da Lat Flower Festival in November.
All the newcomers combined will be able to accommodate more than 500 people at the one time.
Also according to the tourism department, the old French villas built in the 1930s along Nguyen Viet Xuan Street will be refurbished into guesthouses, houses for rent, and government offices.
