Vietnam teambuilding: Supplying teambuilding for foreign tourists

21/09/2006 (GMT+7)

TCSK Co., Ltd. in Ho Chi Minh City's Binh Thanh District will hold a teambuilding activity for 100 tourists, all staff of Pernod Ricard Asia Co. from Hong Kong, on September 21 at Tan Cang Tourist Area.

Participants will be divided into 10 groups to join four outdoor games and two indoor ones, aiming to improve teamwork while studying Vietnam's culture.

Besides uniforms, each participant will be presented with a Vietnamese non la (conical hat) when joining games.

Trying to ride a xich lo (bicycle taxi) under the guidance of Vietnamese xich lo drivers is one of highlights for the day. They will also have the opportunity to join a contest showcasing the history and development of the Vietnamese xich lo.

Nhay sap (A Vietnamese traditional game in which participants dance following the movement of bamboos) and making pictures using topics of Vietnam's land and daily life are other planned activities.

The final challenge focuses on teamwork. Each member of a group must toss his or her non la in order to create a neat pile of the hats.

Chau Hong Anh, TCSK's director, said that the activities will be presented professionally in hopes of introducing to these foreign tourists impressive images of xich lo and non la (important symbols of Vietnam). Besides, it also seeks to introduce teambuilding services to Pernod Ricard Asia and other foreign companies.

"Our teambuilding activities are aimed at helping customers improve their teamwork skills as well as bring out the best in every staff member," Anh said.

"This is also an opportunity for staff to understand more about strategies of their companies and each other."

TCSK was established last year. It specializes in supplying teambuilding activities for local and foreign companies.
