Vietnam Booking a tour to explore Asia
Vietnam Local companies have recently designed tours for those who love to explore the landscapes and traditional cultures of Asian countries.
Each destination has its own unique attractions for travellers to discover during their journey, and tourists will have a chance to meet local people and enjoy the regional specialties of the countries they visit.
The trans-Indochina tour covers some 6,000 kilometres through neighbouring countries. Departing from Ho Chi Minh City, you will soon reach the Moc Bai-Pavet Gate Border, which leads to Cambodia. The route continues through Poypet Border Gate into Thailand, and onward into Laos. From Laos’ Savanakhet province, the tour brings you back to Hue in Vietnam, where you will finally depart for Ho Chi Minh City by plane.
While in Cambodia, you will have a chance to visit the capital, Phnom Penh. Within the city are the Royal Palace, Golden Pagoda, Silver Pagoda, and Wat Phnom Pagoda, all pillars of a by-gone, beautiful era. No visit to Cambodia is complete without a stay in Siem Riep, where you will see the mysterious beauty of Angkor Thom and the world-famous Angkor Wat, classified as the 7th Wonder of the world. Climb the innumerable steps at Angkor Wat early in the morning and marvel in its ancient charm.
Next on the itinerary is Thailand, seen as the country of pagodas. It is a brilliant mixture of bustling modern cities and unspoiled countryside, with perhaps the most impressive and awe-inspiring beaches in Asia. Relaxing on a white-sand coastline, you will soon lose yourself in the quiet wonder of the beautiful country.
The next destination in your journey is the peaceful country of Laos. Visiting the calming atmosphere of the capital city of Vientiane you will find both French and Asian architecture mingling among shadowy trees. The country is filled with old and silent pagodas, and the exciting Buddha Park, Statue Victory, Sisakhet Museum, Haw Pha Kaew Pagoda, Wat Sissaket and That Luang Tower.
Saigontourist is offering the trans-Indochina tour, which lasts nine days and eight nights. The package tour costs US $510 per person, inclusive of insurance, accommodation in three star hotels and fees for visas, among others.
Aboard a cruiser for Singapore
If you want to go father, board the cruise ship Super Star Virgo to the island nation of Singapore. Visit Sea Lion Park, Victoria Theatre and the splendid Esplanade Theatre, seen as one of the most beautiful in the world. You will have a chance to see Jurong Sanctuary, visit Sentosa Island by cable car, and explore Singapore’s history in a wax museum. Also known for its fabulous shops, make sure to leave extra room in your suitcase for the fruits of your Singaporean-shopping labours.
While on board the cruiser, you can relax in the five star standard services, which boast a casino, live music and a cinema. In addition, the cruiser will be able to pass by Malaysia for a short time.
Fiditour offers the cruise package, which lasts five days and four nights, at the price of US$729 per person, exclusive of other supplementary services costing around US$80.
