Rex Hotel Saigon gears up for the festive season, Vietnam

The year-end festive season always makes hotels and restaurants busy with programs to attract customers. The Rex Hotel in downtown Ho Chi Minh City is gearing up to launch its programs for the coming Christmas and New Year's Eve.

As designed in its program, Santa Claus will come to the Rooftop Garden Restaurant & Bar, bringing gifts for everybody on Christmas Eve.

There will also be a gala buffet dinner as well as music and entertainment by Vietnamese famous artists. The Filipino band will warm up the atmosphere, and a bartenders' showmanship program will come after to excite diners with their skillful performances.

The party will start at 6:30pm, and last until 12:30am the next morning. The party costs US$50++ per adult and US$25++ per child, inclusive of free flowing of wine and soft drinks.

Above and beyond, on New Year's Eve, the hotel prepares a food program called "BBQ under the stars" for gastronomists gathering at the restaurant to say goodbye to the year of 2006 and to welcome 2007.

Along with the party, there will be an entertainment program including a fashion show performed by famous Vietnamese models, music and contemporary dances.

Besides, the Filipino band will be there at the countdown moment to share the festive feeling with everybody.

The event is 6 hours long, from 6:30pm to 12:30am. The prices are US$60++ per adult and US$30++ per child, inclusive of free flowing of wine and soft drinks.

Meanwhile, Paradise Coffee Lounge on the ground floor is a place for those who love a private and cozy atmosphere. Guests can leisurely sip coffee while enjoying songs and the view of the hustle and bustle of the streets outside.

Last but not least, there will be a la carte and set menus at Hoa Mai and Cung Dinh restaurants. The menus cost from US$18++ with a glass of wine.
