Travel to Da Nang: German travel group eyeing Son Tra peninsula

Gato AG, an international tourism organisation, is planning to make investment on Son Tra peninsula Da Nang in the central region of Vietnam to turn it into a famous tourist destination in the world.

On January 23, a delegation of senior officials from Gato AG had a working session with Da Nang’s Permanent Deputy Chairman of the Peoples’ Committee Tran Phuoc Chinh on the cooperation plan in making investment on Son Tra peninsula.

 Da Nang authorities have promised to create the best conditions for the investor to develop the project.

 According to Dr Erich Kaub, Head of the Gato delegation, Son Tra peninsula has every condition to become a famous tourism place in the world if there is a long-term and suitable development strategy for it. Moreover, it needs appropriate investment.

 Gato’s experts said that the development programming of Son Tra proves to be unsuitable, and that Da Nang authorities should adjust the programming and restructure infrastructure works. The most important thing is that the city selects investment projects suitable to the natural landscape of the area.
