From Russia with love: VietNam's new holiday market

VietNam's new holiday market, a group of 13 Russian travel companies has visited Vietnam to survey the Vietnamese tourism market.

The delegation visited large hotels in Ho Chi Minh City and resorts throughout the country with favourable reviews, particularly of sea tourism in Phan Thiet and Nha Trang.

“The Vietnamese sea is beautiful and warm. Vietnamese people are joyful and friendly. All the hotels that we have visited have good service quality. I like this country and we will bring many Russian visitors travel to Vietnam,” said Uliana Levkovets, head of the delegation.

“However, Vietnam needs to have more tour guides who can speak Russian to introduce your landscapes, the country and the people to our visitors,” Levkovets added.

According to local travel companies, Russia has high potential to become a source of tourists for Vietnam and several businesses have already designed specific Vietnam package travel. Ben Thanh Tourism Company also sent representatives to an international tourism fair in Russia on March 23-25.
