Vietnam to introduce tourism potential to France
Vietnamese travel agencies will attend an international tourism fair slated for March 15-18 in Paris with the aim of introducing the country's tourism attraction, according to the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT).
The Vietnamese tourism agencies also hopes to exchange information and seek corporation with European partners at the annual Salon Mondial Tourism fair with the hope of attracting more French holidaymakers to Vietnam.
According to VNAT, the number of French tourists to Vietnam reached just 74,600 in the first seven months of 2006. The figure reflects a modest increase of two percent over the same period of 2005.
