Ca Mau airport terminal to be upgraded

Ca Mau airport upgrade, the Vietnamese transport ministry has approved a master plan to upgrade the Ca Mau airport terminal by 2015.
The upgrade, to cost VND 530 billion (US $33 million), will also include flight zones, technical services, and traffic planning.
Once the work is completed in 2015, the airport will be able to handle ATR72 and F70 aircraft and around 200,000 passengers per year. By 2025 the facility is expected to accommodate ATR72, F70, and Airbus A320 aircraft and 300,000 passengers a year.
Plans are underway to start a daily Ca Mau - Ho Chi Minh City flight and increase services between Ca Mau and Phu Quoc island.
