Phu Bai airport in Hue

The Ministry of Transport has assigned the Vietnam Civil Aviation Administration to consider the scheme to turn the Phu Bai Airport into an international airport.

Phu Bai Airport, located in the central province of Thua Thien - Hue, is one of airports that have the highest numbers of passengers and flights.
Last year the airport served 2,327 flights and 428,000 passengers.
The Central Region Airport Management Agency also supports the plan to turn Phu Bai into an international airport.
