Vietnam tourism – culture Festival 2013 in Korea

The Vietnamese tourism – culture festival 2013 in Republic of Korea will be taken place from 1st to 6th July 2013. The event is organized by the Viet Nam’s Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

vietnam-tourism-culture-festival-2013The Festival 2013 in Korea will include performances of traditional and modern dancing and singing; exhibition on “Viet Nam- Timeless charm” to introduce Viet Nam’s people, country, image, handicraft products, traditional costumes and cuisine; workshop on tourism promotion aiming to advertise Viet Nam tourism in Korea.
In 2012, the number of Korean visitors to Vietnam was 700,000 arrivals, and 100,000 Vietnamese arrivals to Korea vice versa.
According to Korea Tourism Organization, Viet Nam is considered one of potential tourism markets. Currently, there are 10 weekly direct flights between Viet Nam-Korea, contributing to facilitating bilateral tourism development cooperation.
