Vietnam Airlines adjusts departure time of its flights

Vietnam Airlines today (June 21) announces that departure time of its flights to/from Australia on June 21 – 22 will be adjusted due to the Cordon Caulle volcano’s impact in order to secure passengers’ safety.

Following that, on June 21, two flights from Vietnam to Australia adjusted (VN781 from Ho Chi Minh City to Melbourne, scheduled departure time 21:05: new estimated departure time (ETD) is 23:05 local time (2 hours delay); and VN783 from Ho Chi Minh City to Sydney, scheduled departure time 20:30: new ETD 00:30 local time next day (4 hours delay).

On June 22, two flights from Australia to Vietnam adjusted (VN 780 from Melbourne to Ho Chi Minh City, scheduled departure time 10:35: new ETD 12:35 local time (2 hours delay); and VN 782 from Sydney to Ho Chi Minh City, scheduled departure time 10:15, new ETD 14:15 local time (4 hours delay).
