Thailand sees Vietnam as cruise destination

The Tourism Authority of Thailand has said it is keen for their cruises to stop in Vietnam to make its products more interesting.

Long-haul travellers from Latin America and Canada have expressed a preference to visit places like Vietnam after visiting Thailand.

Singapore has also been inquiring about opportunities for taking in Vietnam.

Singapore tourism officials have made trips to help Vietnamese partners find suitable locations for developing tourism ports that can berth large cruise ships.
