The first route from Halong Bay – Hon Xep Park features Co, Thay, Cong Do and Cap La caves and Tung Ang eco tourist site. The second and third routes are from Vung Duc in Cam Pha City to Hon Xep Park and from Cai Rong Port to Lo O, Ba Mun National Park and Minh Chau Beach.
Bai Tu Long consists of some beautiful beaches like Ngoc Vung, Minh Chau, Quan Lan and Ba Mun National Park. The local tourism authority expects to develop some services like accommodation, kayaking, fishing, exploring the salt-marsh forest and trekking.
Some travel companies have recently launched tours to Bai Tu Long where guests can have an overnight stay at Halong Bay and visit Vung Vieng fishing village.
According to Quang Ninh’s Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in the first half of 2013, the province lured 4.67 million visitors, a 9% increase year-on-year. The total revenue of the tourism sector is estimated of VND2.578 billion, a rise of 14% compared to the same period last year.
