Promoting tourism of Lam Dong province in Hanoi

The Lam Dong Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Hanoi Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism held a conference on tourism promotion in Lam Dong province on May 25 in Hanoi.

The event attracted the attendance of Vice-director of Hanoi Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Mr. Truong Minh Tien; Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc, Vice-director of Lam Dong Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and representatives of 75 Vietnam travel enterprises.

In 2010, Lam Dong welcomed more than 3,1 millions of arrivals including 2,951,000 domestic arrivals and 163,500 int'l tourists. During the 1st quarter of 2011, about 943,855 arrivals visited the province, where is becoming one of the most attractive destinations of central highlands with many remarkable events and festivals such as Dalat's Flower festivals since 2005.

At the conference, many Lam Dong's tourism companies introduced their tourist products as well as Dalat potentials as a destination of classic architectures and various entertainment and leisure services.

In addition, they also signed documents on information exchange, management experiences, and tourism promotion cooperation.
