OVs in Malaysia vote for Halong Bay

The Vietnamese embassy in Malaysia on November 2 held a meeting to vote for Halong Bay as one of seven natural wonders in the world.

The event drew many staff members of the embassy and representative offices as well as Vietnamese students and guest workers in Malaysia.

Speaking at the launch ceremony, Vietnamese ambassador to Malaysia Nguyen Hong Thao called on participants to vote for Halong Bay.

Nearly 100 people directly voted via the internet, by phone or SMS.

Halong Bay is one of 28 candidates for the new seven natural wonders of the world title.
