All applications for short term Schengen visas to Denmark, Iceland and Lithuania, as well as visas to Greenland and the Faroe Islands, should be submitted at this visa application centre. Applications for work and residence permits to Denmark should also be submitted.
The opening of the visa application centre in Ho Chi Minh city will facilitate a smoother process for the applicants, as the centre offers longer opening hours and has no requirement for a prior appointment. The application centre also offers additional services such as online tracking of the application status and courier delivery.
“With the new visa application centre in Ho Chi Minh city, we improve the service in the consular area,” said Danish Ambassador John Nielsen. “Smooth and effective visa handling is a key to strengthening the increased exchange – commercially, culturally, and politically, between Vietnam and Denmark”.
A Danish visa application centre will also open in Hanoi on November 1.
