Ho Chi Minh travel welcome 3 millionth visitor

Ho Chi Minh City’s Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with the city’s Tourism Association and related units on December 21 welcomed the 3 millionth foreign visitor.

Nguyen Thi Hong, Vice Chairwoman of Ho Chi Minh City (HCM City) Municipal People’s Committee, offered flowers, a certificate and congratulations to Nina Fedorova, a lucky tourist from Russia.    
Ms. Hong also wished good health and an enjoyable trip to Nina Fedorova and other guests on flight VN526 of Vietnam Airlines en route Moscow (Russia)-HCM City (Vietnam).
While expressing her surprise, Nina Fedorova also said this was the first time she traveled to Vietnam. Through books and newspapers, she knew that Vietnam is a nice country, people there are friendly and hospitable. She hoped that during her trip she would find out more about the beautiful country and wished Vietnam travel industry further growth.
