Two episodes were titled “Descending Dragon at Halong” and “The Guardians of Halong Bay”. Episode 1 showed scenes as usually seen in 4-hour tour by ship on Halong Bay. Whereas, episode 2 was about the daily lives at Cua Van Village on Halong Bay in a calm and romantic view. The village is consider the first Floating Cultural Centre in Vietnam.
The Spirit of Asia film crew visited Halong in late February 2012. Though this is the first time the crew has made a film about landscape and human life on Halong Bay, they have been to Vietnam many times to film about landscape and cultural lifestyles of Vietnamese from Sapa, Dien Bien, Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City, Nha Trang, Dalat, Hue, Hoi An, Can Tho, Ha Tien, Phu Quoc ... Up to now, they have produced and broadcasted 20 episodes about Vietnam. Spirit of Asia program was twice awarded the excellent prize of Thailand press and television in 2010 and 2012.
