According to a report in eTurbo News, the natural disaster in Japan and political unrest in North Africa as also the Middle East, is forcing many vacationers to cancel their plans or understandably making them leery about booking new trips to troubled regions. This has caused companies of Vietnam tour to face the challenges that travel advisories and fast-changing world conditions pose, and ultimately expect a loss of revenue.
Carriers such as Delta Airlines already see a significant drop in demand and bookings which has forced them to reduce capacity in Japan by 15-20%. Carnival Cruise Lines, Holland America Line and Princess Cruises, all operated by the Carnival Corporation, have reported a decrease in demand for voyages to North Africa and Middle East regions due to current political strife.
