Vice director of Ho Chi Minh's Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Mr. La Quoc Khanh said the ITE HCMC will be themed "4 Countries as one Destination" to boost Vietnam, Lao, Cambodia and Myanmar's image as well as to enhance their tourism development cooperation.
The event also aims to promote Asian region's tourism industry to the world.
ITE HCMC had succeeded and asserted its prestige in the South-east Asia during the last 6 celebrations. Therefore, the 7th ITE HCMC will be expanded with 1927m2 in area, up 27% over last year. The event will attract the attendance of 210 kiosks including 20 kiosks of provinces throughout the country, ten others of oversea countries and the remains are of travel businesses.
During the 4 days of Expo, there will be many activities such as: exhibitions, Buyer programs, the media, tourism awards...Especially, the Expo will welcome local people and tourists during the last two days.
