Bangkok was number one, with Ho Chi Minh City ranked 7th with 84,04 points and Hanoi ranked 9th with 83,48 points.

Meanwhile, Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi Hotel and the Park Hyatt in Ho Chi Minh City were named among the top 10 of 25 leading hotels in the region. The Sofitel Legend Metropole took 3rd place. It ranked 14th last year. The Park Hyatt in Ho Chi Minh City came in at 10, having been unranked last year

Hanoi was also listed last year as one of the top 10 most attractive cities in Asia by online tourism magazine Smart Travel Asia, based on readers' votes.

The magazine has a large number of readers in northern USA.
