Chairman of the Binh Thuan Provincial Tourism Association, Nguyen Van Khoa, said that Russian businessmen were surveying the quality of local tourist services, infrastructure, facilities and potential tourist landmarks.
Russian businessmen said that they were preparing for the 2010-2011 tourism season and they were especially interested in Ham Tien-Mui Ne tourist site.
According to Mr. Khoa, an increasing number of Russian tourists arrived in the locality recently, making up about 30 per cent of the total.
Reportedly, Binh Thuan welcomed some 220,000 tourists in April, including 27,000 international ones and 832,000 tourist, including 130 foreign ones in the first four months of 2010, up by 13.4 per cent year on year.
