Mr Nguyen Cong Hoan, Vice Director of Hanoi Redtours, said that many travel companies in Hanoi have sold sea tours with a discount of 30% to 35% to Danang, Phan Thiet and Phu Quoc. Aside form these, tours to tourist sites along the coast in Dong Hoi, Quy Nhon and Tuy Hoa were introduced to visitors.
Vietnam tours including mainly sea tours for this month are already fully booked, said Mrs Doan Thi Thanh Tra, head of the Saigontourist’s Marketing Department.
She added that a number of visitors from the southern provinces travelling to Phan Thiet, Mui Ne, Nha Trang, Phu Quoc and Con Dao, has increased sharply when compared to last year’s figure.
According to Cao Tri Dung, Deputy Director of CP Vietnam Vitours in Danang, the number of tourists visiting Danang and the Central provinces increased by 20% – 25% as compared to the same period last year. Beaches in Danang and Cu Lao Cham are always crowded.
There are now more tourists who are paying more attention not only to tourist sites but also to the quality of service.
