The number of international visitors travel to Ho Chi Minh city during November increased around 38 percent over the same period in 2009. Since the beginning of this year, the city has welcomed about 2.85 million foreign arrivals, up 22 percent over the same period, and reached 102 percent of the 2010 plan.
Under the plan, Ho Chi Minh Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism will coordinate with the Vietnam Airline to welcome the 3 millionth visitor at Tan Son Nhat International Airport in December and expect that Ho CHi Minh will contribute the most important revenue for Vietnam travel.
