Mui Ne heats up with seaside massages

Travellers seeking relaxation will find it on the beaches of Mui Ne in Phan Thiet City where massages are performed in breezy huts that allow customers to gaze at the ocean and listen to the sound of the waves.

In addition to massages, a wide selection of spa treatments for feet, face and body are also available at luxury resorts.

Seaside massages are offered at the Victoria Phan Thiet Beach Resort and Spa, the Pandanus Resort, and a number of other resorts in Mui Ne.

Managers at the resorts said massages can be beneficial for the mind and body and the exposure to natural elements during a seaside massage can further enhance these benefits. The ocean can cool the body down, while the waves can carry away stresses, they said.

1928 Thap Cham-Da Lat Railway returns

The Government has agreed to restore the Thap Cham-Da Lat Railway, one of the unique mountain railways around the world.

Opened in 1928, the 84 km Thap Cham-Da Lat Railway linking the Central Highlands city of Da Lat Vietnam with the coastal areas in central provinces was closed shortly after due to the lack of economic efficiency.

Currently, 7 km of the route, from Da Lat to Trai Mat, are put into use to serve travelers. There are four trains operational daily, providing services to hundreds of travelers.

The Government also allowed the private sector to take part in the re-construction of the railway, as the entire railway will be restored to its original state.
