Travelers to Thua-Thien Hue Vietnam

Travel to Hue Vietnam, Central Thua Thien-Hue Province played host to more than 870,000 travelers over the past nine months of this year, with nearly half are foreign holidaymakers, marking a year-on-year increase of 14.2% and 31%, respectively.
In September alone, the province welcomed 72,000 vacationers, including 41,500 international travelers.
During the reviewed period, the provincial tourism sector net a turnover of nearly VND 1.4 trillion, up 34.4% over the corresponding period of last year.
The growth was driven by a series of tourism initiatives organised in the central region recently such as the third Heritage Itinerary in Quang Nam Province Vietnam, the Trans-Asia Span of Bridge in Quang Tri and the Hue Traditional Handicraft Festival (Hue festival).
In a bid to satisfy tourists' demand for accommodation, the provincial authorities have increased investment in infrastructure and services, including a commercial and entertainment centre, a residential area and several major hotels.
The provincial People's Committee has given the go ahead to a project to build a tourist complex in the province, which will house a 36-hole golf course, ecological villages and entertainment centres.
