Muong Lo cultural tourism festival kicks off

Muong Lo’s Cultural Tourism Festival, co-organised by the three northern mountainous provinces of Phu Tho, Yen Bai and Lao Cai, is to kick off in Yen Bai from October 13.
The one-week event, part of the 2007 Travel to the Origin programme, will include a variety of different activities including music performances and fashion shows displaying the area’s different ethnic dress.
Yen Bai’s Trade and Tourism Department is working with Van Chan district’s People’s Committee and Construction Department to promote the Suoi Giang tourism site, which is home to thousand-year-old tea trees.
