Sofitel Metropole named Best Business Hotel in Hanoi

Best Business Hotel in Hanoi, Sofitel Metropole Hanoi was awarded last week the city’s best business hotel in 2007 by the readers of the prestigious Business Traveller Asia Pacific magazine..
Business Traveller Asia-Pacific is the leading travel magazine for Asia Pacific business travellers. Each year readers selected the premium hotel of each city in Asia. Top priorities to elect hotels are location, room facilities, customer service, technology and food and beverage.
The award presentation took place on September 14 in Hong Kong.
“We are proud to attain this leading position. This award has even more significance as the hotel is going to reopen the contemporary “Opera Wing” by the end of this year to equip the iconic hotel with the highest technology and latest 21st century amenities,” said the hotel’s General Manager Gilles Cretallaz.
Also in this year, The Sofitel Metropole Hanoi was distinguished by the prestigious CondéNast Traveler’s Gold List.
The hotel was also designated as one of the ‘500 Greatest Hotels in the World’ and ‘Best 50 Hotels in Asia’ according to the criteria of Travel+Leisure magazine.
It was also elected as the best hotels in Hanoi by Hong Kong magazines DestinAsian and Asia Money; the most luxury hotel by Vietnam Economic Times and ranks the top ten best hotels by Vietnam Tourism Association.
