United Airlines to open third air route to Ho Chi Minh City

Los Angeles to Ho Chi Minh City flight, United Airlines of the US on April 5 said it will open another air route from Los Angeles to Ho Chi Minh City via Hong Kong, China, by late October.

This will be the airline’s third route from the US to Ho Chi Minh City via Hong Kong. The two existing routes fly from San Francisco and Chicago.
Country manager of United Airlines in Vietnam Joe Mannix said that his firm will start selling e-tickets in the country next month. Passengers will then be able to check in via United Airlines’ automatic machines at the Tan Son Nhat Airport Vietnam.
United Airlines became the first US carrier to provide flights from Vietnam to the US since 1975 when it launched its services to Ho Chi Minh City in December 2004.
