New tourism resort in Quang Tri province

The Sai Gon – Dong Ha Tourism Joint Stock Company has broken ground for the construction of a tourism resort in Dong Ha town, central Quang Tri province.

Addressing the ground-breaking ceremony on May 1, Board Chairman Le Van An said that the 200 billion VND (12.5 million USD) project includes the construction of a four-star hotel, a convention hall and other tourism facilities.

The tourism resort is expected to be operational by 2009.

The Sai Gon – Dong Ha Tourism Joint Stock Company comprises five local shareholders, including the Sai Gon Beverage and Soft Drinks Corporation, and the Sai Gon Tourism Corporation.
