VASCO to replace Vietnam Airlines in two domestic routes
The Vietnam Air Services Company, known as VASCO, will replace the national air carrier Vietnam Airlines to provide flights on two domestic air routes, the Quy Nhon to Da Nang and Quy Nhon to Ho Chi Minh city
Bui Ngoc Hoang, Director of VASCO has had a working session with Chairman of the Da Nang People’s Committee on the opening to the direct air route Da Nang – Quy Nhon – Da Nang.
As of March 26, VASCO will replace Vietnam Airlines to provide the flights from Ho Chi Minh city to Quy Nhon. It plans to provide 10 Ho Chi Minh city - Quy Nhon – Ho Chi Minh city flights, and three Quy Nhon – Da Nang – Quy Nhon flights a week with ATR 72 which can carry 65 passengers for each flight.
Now VASCO is taking preparatory works to take over and develop the two air routes. The airfare for the Da Nang to Quy Nhon flight will be VND350,000/passenger.
