Qatar Airways to provide direct Ho Chi Minh City – Doha flights

Qatar Airways will provide the first flight from Doha to Ho Chi Minh City on March 26, according to the airline’s representative office in Ho Chi Minh City.

Ho Chi Minh City to Doha, Though the flight will be on March 26, the airline representative office has begun selling business class tickets for this flight.

The one way ticket for Doha to Ho Chi Minh City flight is QAR3,400 ($934) for economic class, according to the online ticket booking Qatarairways.com. The airline will provide four Ho Chi Minh City – Doha flights a week, departing on every Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday.

Up to now, the Ho Chi Minh City to Doha flights have to make transit in several countries, and Qatar Airways’ leaders hope that the direct flights will help shorten the time for flying between Vietnam and Qatar, creating new opportunities for economic and tourism cooperation between the two countries.

To date, Qatar Airways has been providing flights from Ho Chi Minh City to 15 points in Europe. The lowest economy-class airfare with five-star service is $700, not including tax and surcharges.
