21/03/07 (GMT+7)

The Mai Linh Joint Stock Company on March 19 opened its Ho Chi Minh City - Phnom Penh - Siem Reap bus route.

The ticket will be US$15 for the whole route in the first month of operation, including a free meal, pure water and cool wiping cloth. This price is $3 lower than the official one.

This is the first bus route from Ho Chi Minh City to Siem Reap of Cambodia. Previously, some travel and transport companies offered the Ho Chi Minh City - Phnom Penh bus route pricing at $11/passenger.

Mai Linh uses 16-seat Mercedes Sprinter, 30-seat Hyundai County, and 45-seat Aero Space as the major vehicles on this route.

Last year Mai Linh, the biggest transporter in Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam, signed contracts with auto manufacturers in Vietnam like Mercedes and Toyota to buy new buses to serve its plan of buying over 1,000 buses for international bus routes and for leasing.
