Vung Tau to Host International Travel Expo

The Vung Tau International Travel Expo will be held for the first time in Vung Tau’s Paradise Tourist Area from October 19-23, 2007, said an official of the Department of External Relations of Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province at a press conference last week.
The expo aims to promote the province’s trade, tourism, and investment potential and to create advantages for local and foreign enterprises interested in entering the Vung Tau market.
Hundreds of Vietnamese and foreign companies in different industries including tourism, hotels, restaurants, banking, and handicrafts registered to lease more than 500 display booths. The show is an opportunity to market wares, swap information and to seek business opportunities while getting to know potential customers and competitors.
More than 20 foreign embassies and consulates in Vietnam, regarded the event as bridges between their represented enterprises and local firms, will participate in the Vung Tau International Travel Expo.
