Ho Chi Minh Tourism Festival opens

The 2007 Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival begins today at the Dam Sen Cultural Park. According to La Quoc Khanh, the Director of Ho Chi Minh City's Tourism Department.
This year’s Ho Chi Minh festival will feature promotional activities worth more than VND100 million in total. Along with their entry tickets, visitors will be given lucky draw numbers with winners receiving trips to local and foreign destinations.
Cultural activities have also been planned such as a tourism fair, the “Southern Tasty Food” fair, the “Southern Amateur Music” Festival, a floating market, folk games and more.
The festival will end on April 22.
