Cheap tours abroad attract Vietnamese

Package tours of foreign countries are now very attractive to visitors due to cheap prices, according to some local travel agencies.
This is due to the fact that some airlines in Vietnam have reduced their airfares while transportation costs and hotel prices have also fallen sharply.
According to Saigontourist – the country’s leading travel agency, Thailand and the Republic of Korea are currently the most attractive destinations. In early March alone, six groups booked tours of the RoK with them.
The number of tourists to visit the RoK is expected to rise in May thanks to a range of package tours on offer starting at as little as US$699 per person.
Meanwhile, tours of Thailand cost somewhere between US$270-370 per person to be considered the most reasonable so far, say local travel agencies.
