Autumn tours to the northern region

Many travel companies introduce package tours to the northern area of Vietnam to local and international vacationers during autumn to take advantage of the cool and fine weather.
Tan Dinh Trade and Travel Service Co., or Fiditour, has launched the "Hanoi in Autumn" packages with the central destination of the capital city of Hanoi. Visitors can choose from many tours, such as the journey from Hanoi to Ha Long Bay, Tuan Chau Island and Yen Tu Mountain.
The tour is three days and two nights, priced at VND5,925,000 per package, or a similar tour for four days and three nights priced at VND6,345,000. Visits to additional Huong Pagoda can be organized on the same journey, extending it to a five-day-and-four-night tour, priced at VND7,215,000.
Some longer tours are also available including from Hanoi City to Ninh Binh Province, Ha Long Bay, Tuan Chau Island and Yen Tu Mountain at VND7,275,000 per tourist. And finally a similar tour replacing Ninh Binh Province with Sapa City at the price of VND8,170,000 is also a popular choice for people wishing to travel for six days and five nights. The tours are operated weekly.
To mark the onset of autumn, Fiditour is offering a promotion called "Travel in autumn - Win interesting gifts" for clients who book tours, restaurants, hotels, buy air tickets, or use visa services at any of Fiditour's branches in Ho Chi Minh City. They will be eligible to win essential and valuable presents, such as Attila Elizabeth scooters, LCD TV sets, cameras, suitcases, and lovely travel gift sets.
Saigontourist travel service is offering about 200 package tours this autumn including a promotional tour around Hanoi, Tam Coc Cave, and Ha Long Bay for four days with a soft price of VND3,355,000-3,625,000 per package, including accommodation in a three star hotel in Halong Bay.
This is a good chance for vacationers in the southern areas to see the beautiful northern landscapes during the finest season in the year. Hanoi offers not only different cultural features such as Hoan Kiem Lake, West Lake and Ngoc Son Temple, but in autumn it is especially romantic, with gentle waves in Truc Bach lake and the fragrance of magnolia flowers in the cool breezes. The tour includes a sight-seeing journey to see flowers, lakes, and old streets which provide unforgettable memories of the beautiful capital city.
From Hanoi, the tour travels to the ancient capital of Ninh Binh to visit royal temples of kings under the Dinh and Le dynasties, sail on a boat to Tam Coc-Bich Dong Cave, a natural beauty known as "Ha Long Bay on land", and go downstream on Ngo Dong River to discover the mysterious mountain cliffs and caves.
On the way to Ha Long Bay, visitors will stop at Hoa Yen Pagoda on the Yen Tu Mountain to view the natural landscape from a height of over 500 meters. At the end of the sightseeing trip to the World Heritage Site, the tourists will receive a five-percent- discount voucher for their next tour from Saigontourist.
Some favorite Saigontourist package tours this season are "Autumnal Hanoi" for five days at the price of VND3,865,000 per tourist; "A fall feature of Sapa" for four days at VND1,735,000; Nha Trang and Ha Long Bay for seven days at VND5,970,000; and the trans-Vietnam trip for 10 days priced from VND10,550,000.
