Hanoi-Dong Hoi air route opens

Vietnam Airlines official inaugurated its Hanoi-Dong Hoi (in central Quang Binh province) route on September 1.

There will be three flights per week from Hanoi to Dong Hoi and vice versa on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Flights from Hanoi will take off at 8.30am and at 10.40am from Dong Hoi. The total flying time is 1.30 hours.

There are two fare levels applied for this air route, VND600,000 and VND800,000/one way ticket, not including fuel surcharge. This is the 27th local air route of Vietnam Airlines.

The Ministry of Transportation and the Quang Binh provincial People’s Committee recently inaugurated Dong Hoi Airport after nearly four years of construction.

Dong Hoi Airport can serve Airbus A-321, ATR-72 and 500,000 passengers per day.
