Halong Bay in Vietnam

After having fallen behind other nominated landscapes in the world, Halong Bay of Vietnam has returned to the top seven of the global voting platform.

In fact, local authorities have organized some voting maneuvers and campaigns to popularize the special values of the bay and raise people's awareness of preserving the World Heritage site.

The New Open World organization has also announced that each country has until the end of this year to nominate one national beauty for the next voting period.

The current seven highest rankings are the Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park in Philippines, Cox's Bazaar Beach in Bangladesh, Halong Bay in Vietnam, Tub-bataha Reef in Philippines, Chocolate Hills in Philippines, Al-hasa Oasis in Saudi Arabia, and Ganges River in India and Bangladesh.
