First tourists cycle to Halong Bay Vietnam

Tourists cycle to Halong Bay, A group of cycling foreign tourists started their four-day visit to Halong Bay in the northern province of Quang Ninh, Vietnamon October 21.

The tourists, including 16 Americans and 4 Chinese, entered Vietnam from China and traveled by bicycle to Halong, Hanoi and Hai Phong City,Vietnam.

They are expected to spend 4 days visiting Halong Bay and Tuan Chau International Tourism and Recreation Resort before cycling on to Hanoi and Hai Phong Vietnam.

Halong Tourism Joint Stock company plans to expand into this new type of tour which favoured by US and European tourists.

Quang Ninh Province, home to the world Heritage site of Halong Bay, has welcomed 3.8 million visitors so far this year, up to 24 percent from one year ago.
