Vietnam adventure tours, the northwest region of the country is an area of stunning scenery with terraced fields, mountain ridges separating beautiful valleys and colorful bazaars: an excellent destination for soft adventure and Vietnam trekking tours.

Ho Chi Minh City-Ben Thanh Tourist has put together a ten-day and nine-night tour to explore provinces of the region such as Hoa Binh, Son La, Dien Bien, Lao Cai, and others.
From Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam the tour begins with a flight to Hanoi for a one day stop-over to visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, one-pillar Pagoda, Temple of Literature, Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple, Tran Quoc Pagoda, Old Quarter and the famous water puppet show, before heading off for Hoa Binh and Mai Chau.
Like other provinces in the region, Hoa Binh is home to many ethnic peoples, such as the Muong and Thai. The tour will include a visit to a Muong village on route to Mai Chau, a beautiful valley where many Thai people live in wooden stilt houses.
An overnight stop here affords an opportunity to explore the cloth weaving technique of local people and enjoy a traditional Thai dance. Weekend visitors can wander through the colorful local market organized every weekend by the Mai Chau peoples.
The especially striking scenery of the mountains, springs and hills in Son La Province are complemented by sights of ethnic people wearing their traditional, colorful clothes as they go about their everyday chores.
The next stop is Dien Bien, home of the Dien Bien Phu Museum, A1 hill and De Castries General Shelter. Dien Bien is the site of significant victories in the war against French troops in the last century.
Sapa Vietnam and Bac Ha are the final destinations of the tour. An exciting five-kilometer trek around Cat Cat village in Sapa reveals a beautiful village with terraced rice fields, a romantic suspension bridge spanning a stream and dazzling white water falls. There is much to see, and many places to wander through.
Across the village's stone-paved road are shops to buy souvenir gifts and numerous viewing areas for taking photos of the mountain villages. An excursion to Bac Ha is rewarded with a chance to see the colorful Bac Ha market and observe the daily life of ethnic people.
