Halong Bay Vietnam, as of the morning of March 19, Vietnam’s Halong Bay has ranked first for a successive month among the 77 candidates via internet voting to be selected as the New 7 Wonders of Nature.

Halong bay in VietnamHalong Bay jumped from sixth to third place one month ago and continued its ascents seizing first place from Cox’s Bazar Beach of Bangladesh. After that, Vietnam found two more of its scenic locations, Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park and Fansipan Mountain, at second and third place in the ranking. At present, Cox’s Bazar Beach still follows the three candidates at fourth position.

Many experts believe that the first place of Halong Bay can be held for a long time. The world natural heritage site along with Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park and Fansipan Mountain, are being given strength by nationwide voting campaigns under the program: “Traveling with EVN Telecom to vote for Halong Bay” and many other promotions and advertisements.

Aiming to keep this ranking, Quang Ninh Party Committee has also issued a decree asking relevant organs to speed up promotions and advertisements on voting for Halong Bay Vietnam.
