Ca Mau to get one more eco-travel site

Travel to Ca Mau, the southernmost Ca Mau Province has given the nod to the Thien Tan company to invest 8.7 billion VND in building an eco-travel area.
The 50.7ha area, named Khai Long, will break ground next month and is expected to open for tourists in the fourth quarter of 2010.
To date, investors have pledged 150 billion VND to build eco-tourism areas in the province’s U Minh Ha National Park, Hon Khoai island, Ca Mau cultural park and others.
The province has so far this year welcomed more than 250,600 tourists, including 3,131 foreigners. It hopes to complete a tourism development plan in 2008 to call for more domestic and foreign investments.
