Foreign cruise ship visits Nha Trang first 2008

Visits Nha Trang Vietnam, Bahamas-registered "Rhapsody of the Seas" cruise ship on Thursday docked at the Nha Trang port in the central coastal province of Khanh Hoa with 1,867 foreign passengers and 782 sailors from 48 countries and territories on board.

The first foreign ship that arrived in Nha Trang Vietnam this year brought hundreds of Vietnamese-Americans to their homeland for the first time.

Overseas Vietnamese said they were surprised and excited at Vietnam’s positive socio-economic changes, and what they saw were quite different from what they read about Vietnam on overseas newspapers.

They also expressed wishes for a long stay in Vietnam.
