Surveying North East – North West Vietnam tourism arc

North East – North West Vietnam, on April 4, a delegation including 25 international travel businesses and representatives from relevant agencies and the press will begin a survey trip to seven mountainous provinces under the North East – North West tourism arc.
This is an activity held by the Vietnam National Tourism Administration.
During the eight days, the delegation will survey the terraced fields systems in Mu Cang Chai District in Yen Bai recognized as a national cultural heritage, the border gate and Muong Khuong Market in Lao Cai, Bac Me Prison and ethnic villages in Ha Giang, the Na Hang upstream hydroelectric dam, Na Hang nature preserve and Ba Be National Park in Tuyen Quang and Bac Kan, Ban Gioc Waterfall and Phuc Sen forging village in Cao Bang, and a newly-discovered cave in Chi Lang Pass in Lang Son. Moreover, the delegation will join a community tourism conference held by Ha Giang’s People’s Committee.
Mr. Luu Duc Ke, Director of Ben Thanh Tourist Company in Hanoi said that survey programs held by the Vietnam National Tourism Administration offer opportunities for travel businesses to establish new tourism products and improve the quality of tours. Furthermore, the delegation will consult with local authorities and people about investment, preservation and organization methods to develop tourism sustainably.
