Luxury train on Saigon-Quy Nhon route to begin running

As of April 14 tourists can go from Ho Chi Minh City to Quy Nhon and vice versa on a high-quality train.
 The Saigon Railway Transportation Corporation has signed a contract with the Golden Train Tourism Transportation JS Company to put a tourism train into operation on the Ho Chi Minh City-Quy Nhon route.
In the first phase, the train will run every other day, departing from Quy Nhon. As of June 2008, another train will be put into operation, departing from Ho Chi Minh City for Quy Nhon everyday.
According to a representative of Golden Train, the firm has invested VND40 billion ($2.5 million) in the first phase.
There is currently no high-class train running between Ho Chi Minh City and Quy Nhon Vietnam.
The fares will range from VND395,000 to VND495,000 per ticket, double the normal fares for train tickets from Saigon to Quy Nhon.
The fares for children of 5-10 years old will be 75% of normal tickets; tickets will be free for children of under 5 years old.
