Mai Chau & Pu Luong 3 days

Depart from your Hanoi hotel at 08:00 am transferring to Mai Chau. Daydream as we drive a safe route with spectacular views around every bend. Upon arrival at Ton village in Nam Son commune, we will start our trekking down the forest. The highlight on this walk is experiencing the beauty of Pu luong Nature Reserve, the everyday life and culture of the white Thai people. Become a part of local life when we are welcomed as honored guests at a traditional Thai home on stilts. Have pinic lunch under the shade of forest trees then we continue our wonderful trek down to Hin village in the late afternoon. The host family welcome us, free time to take rest, have shower then a traditional dinner and stay the night.

Having breakfast, then start for a harder full day of hiking. From Hin village, we take a short trek about 4 km to Nua village. Here there is a nice cool stream for you to take rest  from the heat of the day before starting our wonderful trekking with more chellanges.
The trekking becomes more remote yet one is never far from a villager tending fields, passing steep limestone mountain, rain forest inside the Pu Luong Nature Reserve to the village. After a rough trek, the picnic lunch will be served at Pon village. Then we take more trek to an incredible cave, only recently discovered and now protected by the Forest rangers. Continue with some steeps  climbs, more stream crossings and through valley we arrival in Kho Muong village - the setting of the village is perhaps the most beautiful in Vietnam. It is recommended to stroll round the village and join in as villagers go about their daily lives, or relax in one of the three-eco homestays superbly set up by FFI (Flora and Fauna International) in conjunction with local villages. Please be soft and nice, nature is just very lovely here. Arrival in Kho Muong village in the afternoon. Here we will spend our second night in a typical Thai eco - stilt house.

It will be interesting for you to get up and observe, or even take part in your host family’s activities in the morning because here daily life starts early, take an opportunity to stroll around Kho Muong village before having breakfast served by Thai people.
At 8 a.m start our trek. Today we will be walking approximately 5 to 6 hrs .The first hiking is not too hard so just relax and talk with nature before reaching to Eo Ken village. Take shor rest then continue our wonderdul trekking with some steep climbs and yet more stream crossing, the next is really glorious with beautiful views of valley, rice terraces, rich rain forest, streams…. Hang village is in front of you. Stop for a short rest, experience the local daily life then we take a short further walk to the main road. Here driver will pick us up back to Mai Chau for a late lunch. After lunch, more rest or walk around the village and ransfer back to Hanoi. Arrival in Hanoi in the late afternoon. Finish our trip at your hotel in Hanoi.
