A great choice for nature lovers! Light trekking in Cuc Phuong national park with ample opportunity to learn about the local fauna. Included is a meandering local boat trip among the limestone formations of Van Long, Ninh Binh province.
Pick up at your hotel at 7:00 am. Drive about 100 km on a good road by mini-van to Ninh Binh. Arrive in Cuc Phuong National Park after about 3.5 hrs. We first visit the Animal Rescue Center to see and learn about many different endangered species. Lunch then some enjoyable trekking in the National Park for sightseeing. Back to the Park Centre in the late afternoon and check into our bungalows. Dinner and a walk around the Center before retiring to bed.

Breakfast at a restaurant near the bungalow. Free time to enjoy a walk around before driving to visit the area's Botanical Gardens; home of the oldest forest of Vietnam the we transfer on to the Van Long Nature Reserve. When we get there we will take a local rowboat trip along a small stream passing by rice paddies and through limestone caves. Rest and lunch at a local restaurant next to Van Long pier. After lunch, we return to Hanoi at about 4:30 pm.
