A great way to see the spectacular Halong Bay is a slow cruise through the seemingly never-ending bay of islands. Lie in the sun, enjoy a selection of the freshest seafood, and capture photograph after photograph. Visit an island, go for a swim, or relax on the sundeck. Sleep on the board enjoying the sounds silence.
Pick up at your hotel at 8:00 am. Great countryside scenery along the 4 hour transfer to Ha Long city. We will board straight away onto our private boat for our cruise. Fresh seafood lunch is served on the boat with views of the breath-taking scenery. We'll visit the “amazing cave” and find a great spot for some swimming in the open water.We will cruise further into this World Heritage Site to a quiet area where we will anchor, have dinner and spend the night. A swim in the water lit up by the phosphorescents is optional before retiring to your cabin; or, fall asleep under the stars amidst the magic of Halong on the top deck.
Wake-up early in the morning for the a great Halong sunrise – fantastic opportunity for some great photos. Breakfast served on boat followed by a leisurely cruise through the seemingly never-ending islands. We stop to visit the floating fishing village and get to know more about the fishermen’s daily life. Take one last swim before cruising back to the pier. By 12:30 pm we are ashore and drive to a local restaurant for our lunch break. We hit the road back to Hanoi, arriving back at your hotel by around 4:00 pm.
Note: On some of our cruises, we will have a brunch on board at around 10:00 am before going back to the pier.
